Course Aim

    It aims to provide Air Traffic Controllers with knowledge, skills and attitude required to handle and manage abnormal situations efficiently and effectively in accordance with national and international standard procedures.

Course Objectives

    After completing the course, the participants will be able to:

    • Respond to abnormal situation notification
    • Take appropriate action in case of unusual situations
    • Take appropriate action in case of equipment degraded situation
    • Take appropriate action in case of emergency situation

    Who should attend:

    • Operational en-route and terminal control air traffic controllers
    • ATS managers/supervisors and staff of regulatory authority, safety and training units
    • Airline pilots who are interested to undergo this training

    Course Overview

      The duration of the course is five days. The training is divided into theory lessons, discussions, group work and other practical exercises. The course is delivered by a team of experienced instructors.
